Complete Your Profile

Hale is designed to facilitate a personal connection between you and your patients. Having a complete profile helps patients feel connected to their care team, no matter where they happen to be.

To access your profile settings:

  1. Open the Settings Panel by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
  2. Select Profile under the Account header in the left-hand menu.

From here you can easily configure various patient-facing details

Add a profile photo.

Your profile photo is shown to patients on invitations, messages and when patients make new requests. A nice, clear picture can ensure your patients feel personally connected to you, even when receiving care at a distance.

Set your display name.

Your display name is how patients will generally see you referenced in the Hale Health app. Make sure to set this to how your patients will recognize you, e.g. “Dr. Curie” or “Nurse Clark”. Keep it simple and personal – no need to list all of your credentials. Just use what your patients call you in person.

Enter a phone number.

Make sure your profile includes your main work number that patients can call if they have urgent concerns. This should be your main practice line where you otherwise direct patients to call. (You can set your mobile number separately for notifications, and it will not be shared with patients.)
