Patients can easily initiate new cases right from the Hale app. In addition to allowing patients to send general messages or photos, they can also select from a list of common issues or chief complaints – Hale then collects diagnostic information based on reported symptoms to ensure clinical teams have everything they need to determine the best course of care.
You can easily select the list of triage issues your patients can choose from based on your specialty in the Issue List settings page. We have readily available lists for Primary Care, Pediatrics, Dermatology, OB/GYN and Cardiology – take a look at the specific triage questionnaires included below.
To access your issue list settings and select your preferred triage options:
- Open the Settings Panel by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
- Select Issue List under the Account header in the left-hand menu.
Simply click the button next to the list you would like to use. If you select ‘No List’ your patients will still be able to submit new requests, but will only be able to write you a free-form message.
Note that issue list options can be chosen for each individual team member – so different providers on your team can either have the same or different lists, depending on your needs.
