Customize Your Notifications

You have full control over how you’d like Hale to notify you of new activity to fit your workflow. Hale offers a number of ways to customize what you’re notified about and how.

To access your notification settings:

  1. Open the Settings Panel by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
  2. Select Notifications under the Account header in the left-hand menu.

From here you can select the types of notifications you’d like to receive:


Case Activity

Hale will send you notifications whenever a patient send a message or new request. Choose to receive email notifications, SMS notifications, or both. (And because you can use Hale on your mobile browser, staying connected to patient cases while on the go through SMS notifications is a breeze.)

Patient Signup Alerts

You’ll receive a notification whenever an invited patient signs up and activates their account.

Video Visit Reminders

Hale will send you a reminder 10 minutes prior to the start of a video visit – as well as after the scheduled patient has checked into the appointment and is ready for you to join.

Note that you can opt to receive notifications only for activity related to your own patients (those who have you listed as their primary provider) or for all activity for your team.
